I love mini PCs. Ever since I tried the Khadas Mind last year, I've been in love with the concept of a tiny computer that takes almost no space on my desk. I was very excited to get the Geekom Mini IT13 as a replacement, and as it turns out, it's an excellent product with some great surprises.

Those looking for a powerful desktop PC that saves on desk space should look no further than a mini-PC. Packing all the punch of their beefier full-size siblings, a mini-PC is certainly an attractive offer. Especially if that mini-PC comes from GEEKOM, like with its impressive IT13, which is currently available at a discounted price to MUO readers.

If you were looking for a powerful desktop PC, you would normally expect to come home with a hulking great tower with cooling fans blowing like a jet engine. The Geekom Mini IT 13 packs plenty of power into a device that can sit on the palm of your hand—and does so at a ridiculously low price.

The relative performance of the GEEKOM Mini IT13 across almost all of the 3DMark workloads is the same as what was observed in the GFXbench workloads. The AMD-based systems come out on top and the Mini IT13 performs similar to that of the Arena Canyon NUC. The lower overall power budget affects the Mini IT13 negatively in the 3D Mark Wild Life workloads that involves Vulkan APIs, but DirectX 12-based workloads result in the expected ordering based on the paper specifications.
